Another batch of pandemic inspired songs written to be performed as a power trio (guitar bass and drums.) A friend referred to the last batch as "Chunk to Punk," and I think that description fits these as well.

I love hiphop so I wanted to explore how my sounds work with different rappers. Trap has become a sort of default these days so I was looking for new ways to flip these tracks.
I've always enjoyed "heavy" music but have never played in a band that scratched that itch. So I wrote some "heavy," music. (What is heavy? To some people it's slow and loud, some fast and harsh, a mood, a creepy aesthetic. I assume the answer is different to everyone)
I read an article years ago about "the Who" that described their live show as "warlike and menacing," so I kept that phrase top of mind.
